.... ACCORDING TO JEANETTEJeff and Jeanette met in the Galapagos Islands approximately 60 moon cycles ago. They had a wild island fling while Jeanette played bartender at The Pink House (The Frazier's B&B) and that was that. After awhile, Jeff realized he couldn't live without Jeanette, so he took the first flight he could find to Michigan, where he went about convincing Jeanette to move to Austin and give him a fair shot at being her boyfriend. After he located the perfect love shack in the 78704 zip code, Jeanette and her dog Chivo packed all their belongings into a purple mini-van and headed South-ish, thinking 'if it's good, it'll be wonderful, and if it's bad, it'll be experience.'
After hundreds of cups of coffee brought to Jeanette in bed, they are pretty catastrophically in love with each other. They have fun making music, helping the other achieve their dreams, and inspiring each other to be great in whatever they do. Jeanette and Jeff are so excited to say their vows as they become life partners and continue their adventure together. |
Jeanette is thrilled to welcome Jeff's daughter Isla (Eye-la) and his triplet sons, Jake, Eli and Axel as her step-kids and family members. She is excited to give them her unconditional love and also guidance (but only when asked for it, the guidance, that is) as they grow into amazing people.
... ACCORDING TO JEFFOf all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine. And it’s a fine one. Isabela, Galapagos. The restaurant at the end of the Universe. My backup plan. I’m singing songs and selling CD’s on the beach. “Who are you really, and what were you before? What did you do and what did you think?” she asks. Fair questions, I reckon. “Moonlight and love songs are never out of date,” I stammer. “Oh, you're just like any other man, only more so,” she counters. It’s a good start. It’s high praise. Applying fundamental things, I suggest a walk the beach. “Kiss me as if it were the last time.” Of course, a kiss is just a kiss. “Play it again, Gringo,” she requests. *sigh*.
So, with the whole world crumbling, we've picked this time to fall in love. No matter what the future brings, I am so very lucky. Please join us. I’ll be promising all that I am. On that you can rely. |
